Jericho is a real sweetie! Because I use portable netting to graze my land, I've kept a halter on him. I catch him and I can lead him, tie him, shear him or haul him. He's had 3 crops of lambs for a total of 7. His son FarmGirl's Calvin has sired two lambs this year. Jericho's ewe lambs have done very well at SAFF (Southeastern Animal Fiber Festival): firsts and thirds out of large ewe lamb classes. He has 4 very symmetrical horns and the nice black spots on his knees and ankles. Each of his eyes has a stripe of blue near the bottom of the pupil.
Jericho has been tested for Tay-Sachs and is negative: G444R-/-
My previous posts has photos of his two ram lambs from this year.

FarmGirl's Levon and Shenanigans! (Perfect Spot Chelsea x Byland's Jericho)
FarmGirl's Lilith (Patchwork Paris x Swan Valley Kingsley)
This is Paris' first time lambing. Lilith required a tiny tug on her front legs and then she slid right out. |
She has a smile and a special dot on her nose! The way her eyes are set reminds me of her dad, Kingsley. |
Paris is such a good mother. She even lifts her back leg to make it easy for Lilith to grab a nipple. |

Dog Portrait: Bryn (chow/collie mix)
This was a gift to a teenage daughter on her birthday from her parents. Was fun to work on this dog because I know everyone! Looking at the photos today, if I could change anything it would be to add more hair around the head/neck area.
Left ear up, right ear down. |
Several layers of dog hair carded in with dyed Suffolk wool to get the dual coat look and texture. |
Funky tail curl over the back and darker shorter hair on back. |
Tail and underside have longer fluffy hair. |
This is Bryn in real life. |

Panther on the Prowl
My son attends Paisley International Baccalaureate Middle School. I sculpted this panther to benefit the school's Fine Arts Night fundraiser. I hope someone will like him enough to buy him to support the school!
