My version of Parfait. Her owner sent me some of her actual fleece so I could use it for the exterior.  I used Suffolk wool for the rest as it is my favorite for sculpting the core and legs.

Using Jacob fleece was so nice. It's soft and fluffy.

Dog Sculpture: Sally

This is a portrait of Sally who was commissioned by a mother for her daughter who owned Sally. I spent some of my growing up years with Sally's owner and her sister. It was an honor to sculpt Sally who passed away earlier this year.

The following photos are of Sally. She was half Australian Shepherd and half Sharpei.

It seems she almost always had a smile on her face.

She knew how to relax!

A Christmas Pooch

This is my rendition of Lucy.

This is Lucy when she was younger. I was commissioned to make her for a Christmas gift.

I was asked to make her as she looked in her older years but with out her symptoms of Lou Gerigs's disease.

The couple was VERY please with the outcome and so was I.

I enjoyed bringing her to life. She had passed away earlier in the year.
